Munster

Co-operative Housing Munster was established in 2005. The first Munster project was completed in Fern Walk, Pairc na Gloine, Kenmare in County Kerry. These properties are in a well-appointed estate set against the backdrop of the beautiful Kerry Mountains.  Soon afterwards a co-operative rental project began in Shanowen in Rathcormac, County Cork.

An apartment complex with a mixture of forty-seven units at the North East Quadrants in Ballincollig, are in the Town Centre in Ballincollig. It is an ultra-modern development rising to three stories, with underground parking facilities within strolling distance of all amenities.

Throughout 2012 and 2013, further developments were added in Cloyne, Shanagarry and Glanmire.  The local co-operative also opened a new development at Shanakiel in Cork City, the first development in that Local Authority area

We continue to support our members with education, training and information and are delighted to assist, in partnership with the members, in the organisation of family fun days, art days, coffee mornings, community gardens and any other member-led community development.
