Co-operative Housing Ireland, the national federation for the co-operative housing movement, is seeking to appoint new members to its Board.
Since 1973, Co-operative Housing Ireland has supported the provision of more than 5500 homes across Ireland and continues to manage over 2200 homes through a network of local co-operatives.
We are actively developing new housing across Ireland, as well as serving as one of the leading representative bodies for the co-operative movement.
As a co-operative, our Board is distinctive among Approved Housing Bodies in having majority tenant representation, supplemented by external expertise. The Board delegates day-today management to a Chief Executive and a team of more than 70 staff.
The Board is seeking expressions of interest from talented individuals with backgrounds in governance, finance, housing delivery, childcare, and related fields. Ideally, candidates will have previous voluntary board experience. Appointments are non-remunerated, and for terms of two-years, which can be renewed.
Please submit expressions of interest by Friday, August 3rd, 2018 to Daragh Meleady, HR Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org
