Theme: “Home Is…”

“Home Is…” invites you to explore what home truly means to you. It could be a place, a feeling, a memory, or a moment in time. We welcome creativity from all ages and artistic styles, with space for personal stories, culture, and imagination.

Accepted Art Forms

Drawing
Painting
Collage
Sculpture
Mixed media
Textile arts (e.g. knitting, embroidery, weaving)

How to Enter

Please submit:

3 clear photos of your artwork

And one of the following:

Up to 250 words, or
A 1-minute video telling the story of your piece

Judging

Judging will take place in two rounds during June and July.
All decisions are final.

Eligibility

You must be a Co-operative Housing Ireland Member Tenant
Artwork must be created by the entrant

Submission Requirements

3 clear, well-lit photos (JPEG or PNG)
At least one photo must show the full artwork
Optional video: MP4 or MOV, max 1 minute
Total email size must be under 20MB
No filters or edits that change the artwork

Originality & AI

All artwork must be original.
AI-generated or AI-assisted artwork is not permitted.

Disqualification

Entries may be disqualified if they:

Do not meet the rules
Are submitted late
Contain inappropriate content

Permissions

By entering, you agree that:

Your contact details may be shared with judges for judging purposes only
Submitted images may be used to promote the competition and its winners

For entrants under 18, a parent or guardian must provide written consent for entry and use of materials.

Co-operative Housing Ireland may also use submitted artwork in future publications, newsletters, social media, and other non-commercial promotional materials.

This competition celebrates creativity, expression, and the many ways we experience “home.” Whether your piece is bold, quiet, colourful or reflective, we look forward to seeing your work.
