Our recent developments
CHI launched Moínear, a development of 69 new homes in Ros Leamhain, Ennis, Co. Clare on 14th September 2022. Moínear is in a residential area within easy reach of Ennis town centre. It is near local amenities including a Shopping Centre which is served by a supermarket, chemist, butchers and medical centre. The houses were built using innovative Insulated Concrete Forms or ICF, which is originally a Scandinavian construction technique that is now being widely adapted in Ireland. Moínear is the home of 69 new families, each of whom will be a Member of the Ralahine Co-operative, allowing people living in the estate to have a meaningful say in how their homes and communities are managed. The homes were delivered in partnership with Clare County Council, the Housing Finance Agency, the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage, the Housing Agency, and Ennis based construction companies, Datcha Construction and Glencore Construction.
One, two and three-bed homes
CHI launched Graigue na hAbhainn, a development of 77 homes in Graiguecullen, Co. Laois on 7th July 2022. Graigue na hAbhainn was delivered in partnership with Carlow and Laois local authorities, the Housing Finance Agency, the Housing Agency and the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage. The estate was built by BHA Construction. The development contains 77 two and three-bed houses comprising of mid-terrace and semi detached homes. Each household in Graigue na hAbhainn will be a member of the South Leinster Housing Co-operative.
Two and three-bed houses
Baunacloka Heights in Mungret, County Limerick was delivered by CHI to meet the housing needs in the county. It is an estate of 71 A-rated two and three-bedroom homes. The estate is close to rural amenities and established communities with schools and retail services nearby. Public bus transport is provided to the city centre, and the estate benefits from the amenities provided by proximity to the city.
Three-bedroom houses and two-bedroom apartments
St Canice’s Hall, Finglas, Dublin 11, is a development of 32 homes. St Canice’s was delivered in partnership with Dublin County Council, the Housing Finance Agency, the Department of Housing Local Government and Heritage and the Housing Agency. The development contains two blocks of 32 apartments, consisting of 16 two-bedroom and 16 one-bedroom units with terraces, balconies, and roof terraces. The development provides homes for a diverse range of need including people living alone, families, people who have experienced homelessness, people who experience disability, and older people.
