Whether you’ve transformed your balcony, nurtured a houseplant jungle, or created a garden full of blooms, there’s a category for you:

Category

1. Best Overall Kept Garden

2. Best Flower or Food Garden

3. Best hanging basket / container

4. Best use of small space (balcony, indoors, patio)

Rules

· You must be a CHI Member Tenant

· Work on your garden must be mainly done by Member Tenants living in your home

· You can enter more than one category, but you can’t enter the same space in more than one category.

· Please choose which category best applies

· Gardens in communal areas/ green spaces of estates/ apartment blocks will not be accepted as entries

· By entering the competition, you agree that CHI can share your address and contact information with the judges, strictly for the purpose of judging the competition

· Any photos submitted for judging can be used by CHI in promoting the competition and winners

· Final judging will take place in the last week of July 2025 to determine the winner and runner up in each category.

How to Enter

· Take and submit 5 photos of your garden/containers/balcony garden/ houseplants. Make sure they are good quality and not blurry. You can take photos from different angles.

· Email your photos to members@cooperativehousing.ie with the subject line Gardening Competition. Include:

· The category you are entering

· Your name, address

· Your phone number in the email.

· You must enter the competition by Friday 4 July. Entries after this time will not be accepted.

Prizes for each category:

€100 voucher for the winner and €50 voucher runner up for your local garden centre.
