Voicescape Launching Soon – What Member Tenants Need to Know

Co-operative Housing Ireland will begin using a new communication system called Voicescape from early March 2026. This system will be used to contact Member Tenants about rent.

This notice is for information only. We are sharing this in advance so you know what to expect and can be confident that any future messages you receive are genuine.

What is Voicescape?

Voicescape is a secure communication system used by social and co-operative housing providers. It helps us send clear, timely and supportive messages about rent accounts.

It allows us to:

• Get in touch with you more easily
• Reduce missed messages
• Provide quicker support when needed
• Manage call volumes efficiently
• Ensure communications are consistent and regulated

All messages sent through Voicescape are fully controlled and approved by Co-operative Housing Ireland.

What to Expect

From early March you may receive:

• A text message (SMS)
• A phone call with a recorded voice message

Messages may include:

• Reminders or updates about your rent account
• Secure links to make a rent payment through Co-operative Housing Ireland’s official payment systems
• A prompt to contact us so we can support you

Voicescape does not replace personal contact. Our Income Team and housing specialists remain available by phone, email and in person.

Important Information About Messages

• Messages are one-way. You cannot reply directly to a Voicescape text message.
• If you receive a phone call, you may be given the option to press a button to speak directly to our Income Team.
• Messages will only be sent by SMS or phone call.
• Messages will not be sent through WhatsApp, social media or email via Voicescape.

You may wish to save these numbers in your phone.

Your Security

Co-operative Housing Ireland will never ask for:

• Bank or card details by text message
• Passwords or PINs
• Confidential personal information by SMS

Any payment links included in Voicescape messages will direct you to Co-operative Housing Ireland’s secure payment systems.

If you ever receive a message and are unsure, do not respond to the message. Please contact Co-operative Housing Ireland directly to check.
