Co-operative Housing Ireland is seeking to appoint new members to its Board and Sub-Committees.

Since 1973 Co-operative Housing Ireland (CHI) has supported the delivery of more than 7,000 homes across Ireland.  We currently manage 4,000 tenancies and are adding 500-600 new units per annum. CHI is unique as it is the national federation for the co-operative housing movement and an Approved Housing Body.

The Board is seeking expressions of interest from appropriate individuals, with a view to co-option to the Board & Sub-Committees, with backgrounds in housing, finance, and construction or property management. Appointments are non-remunerated (other than out-of-pocket expenses), and for terms of two-years, which can be renewed.

In addition to potential Board membership, the Board wishes to hear from individuals who would be suitable to serve on the following Sub-Committees:

•          Audit, Assurance and Finance

•          Development & Growth

•          Housing Services (tenancy management) and Community Engagement

•          Asset Management and Property Services
